Tea, Stories & Goodbyes on the Verandah
Saturday, 6 December 2025 | 12:00 midday to 4:00 pm
Come along for a relaxed afternoon on the verandah with tea, coffee, and good company as we celebrate the memories we’ve made in Fremantle. Bring your picnic blanket, find a spot on the lawn, and enjoy the chance to farewell our beloved space before we begin an exciting new chapter at the State Library of Western Australia.


The TLC Bookshop will be open all afternoon with our final selection of books, prints, and treasures, all at heavily discounted prices. It’s the perfect chance to pick up something special.

We can’t wait to share this moment with you and to celebrate everything TLC at the Old Prison Hospital has meant to so many readers, writers, and educators over the years.
