    Event description

Let's try this again! Brompton were nice enough to lend us their millionth bike agian after we postponed the ride due to bad weather.

To celebrate Brompton selling their millionth bike, they are doing a world tour with said bike and we are lucky enough to have it for a bit!

Starting at our shop we will aim for as many quiet streets and bike paths to get us through the city. We will ride around the Barangaroo reserve and stop for a photo opportunity at the Hickson Rd Reserve. Then retracing our steps back up the Kent St bike path and finishing at the bike friendly Bar York Lane for some light refreshments.

We will have a couple of ride leaders from Omafiets. As we are not capping the amount of riders for this ride, we will be unable to keep an eye on every twist and turn, please familiarise yourself with this route. This ride is going to take place at a somewhat busy time of day in the city, so please be respectful with pedestrian and car traffic. We expect the ride to get somewhat stretched out with traffic lights and bike path capacity, don't fret, we will wait at Hickson Rd Reserve and York Lane for everyone to re-group and chat all things Brompton and general bike related!

This ride is open to all riders and all bikes. While it is a ride celebrating Brompton, feel free to join on whatever bike you would like to!

We will bring prizes to be given out at York Lane, the catagories for the winners are:

    • Best Dressed
    • Most modded Brompton
    • Best non-Brompton bike
    • Funniest bike accesory

The main things to note are:

    • Meet at Omafiets approx 5:45pm
    • Ride departs Omafiets: 6:00pm
    • Ride finish time at Bar York Lane: 7:30pm
    • Ride distance: 12km
    • Elevation: Flat
    • Ride difficulty: Easy
    • The route map through RideWithGPS

If you are unable to make specific times on this ride, feel free to join for any part. We are sure that you will be able to spot the mass of Bromptons around the city.
