ONE VOICE, ONE HUMANITY NEXT GEN: youth sharing their perspectives on Human Rights issues

We invite you to this landmark UNAA event where we elevate youth as courageous defenders of

human rights. This year’s theme, “Youth, Defenders of Human Rights,” spotlights The Rights of the Child amid mounting global challenges affecting children locally and globally — from climate disruption, child labour, digital inequality, mental health rise to global conflict crisis, child labour impacting child safety, disrupting education and access to food and healthcare.

“A staggering 25% increase in serious violations against children in conflict zones was recorded in 2024—more than 41,000 incidents—marking the highest level since UN reporting began”.

Invited Participants will include youth advocates, activists, and changemakers—who will engage in dynamic discussions, explore how children’s rights are being threatened, and learn how to mobilize for resilient, rights-centered futures.

Our aim is to:

• Amplify Youth Voices: Establish a platform for diverse youth advocates, ambassadors, and representatives to share perspectives on the theme and its intersection with global issues like climate change, geopolitics, and current world events.

• Unite for a Brighter Future: Provides a platform for solidarity . reflecting the diverse faces of humanity that are passionate and committed to social justice and human rights matters

• Inspire Action: To educate, empower, and inspire the Next Gen to take action aligned to the UN
