Fencing North invite you to join us for the
ONGLEY MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT 2023
Gaylene and Alex Ongley were pivotal members of the Fencing North community over many years. We commemorate their contributions by making ‘The Ongley’ a fully ranking tournament.

Standard registration available up to Monday April 3rd 2023 at 23.55h.
$25.00 plus booking and cc fees
Late entry is $45.00 plus booking and cc fees. Late entries are subject to availability and at the discretion of the DT. Last entry 23.55h on FRIDAY before the competition (April 7th 2023)
Out of Town Entries
This applies to any fencer who does not reside in Auckland.
Out of towners get a free standard registration. Please use promo code OUTS25 for a standard registration and OUTL20 for a late registration which is $20.00 + cc fees.
Weapons Checking
We will not be doing a full gear check before this competition BUT referees will be employing Weights and Gauges to check Weapons at the piste.
COMPETITION TIMETABLE - DRAFT SCHEDULE
MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE - Depends on registrations for each discipline. MEN’s EPEE scheduled as first event along with either MEN’S or MIXED SABRE.
WOMEN’S FOIL scheduled mid-morning.
WOMEN’S EPEE scheduled around midday with MEN’s FOIL early afternoon.
We will send you notifications of start times for each event when competitor numbers become clear.
MORNING EVENTS
8 - 8.15am registration Men’s Epee & Men’s Sabre or Mixed Sabre [ 9.00 start ]
Please help with setup after registering.
(If there is a separate Women's Sabre event timing may change)
10.30-10.45am registration. Women’s Foil [11.00 est start ]
MIDDAY/AFTERNOON EVENTS
Women’s Epee [12.00 - 12.30 est start]
Men's Foil. [1.00 - 1.30 est start]

Affiliation/Membership
To compete in Fencing North competitions you must be affiliated with Fencing New Zealand as a full competitive member. The FeNZ membership starts on 01/JAN and lasts a calendar year. Please always sign up with the same name, otherwise we cannot find you and accredit ranking points.
FeNZ affiliation fees are additional to the competition entry.
