Online: Business Women Australia Mastermind - Leadership, Mindfulness & Conscious Communication

A practical, research‑informed online mastermind and Roundtable discussion for members and guests, including Heads of Department, C‑suite leaders, managers, and champions of change.

Guided by Vida Carlino and Lyn Hawkins, this hands‑on mastermind builds the core communication and conscious capabilities today’s leaders need. We will share the parameters that create psychological safety. Learn the practical guidelines that can help navigate all conversations, so you can lead with clarity, empathy, and impact.

Join the conversation, share your experience, and practice the skills your teams need now. Bring a colleague and embed these tools across your workplace.

Why this now:

Modern leadership demands more than technical excellence. Organisations need leaders who can:

communicate with presence and conscious intention to empower team members, serve clients, and partner with stakeholders,
listen deeply and radically, and respond with curiosity,
foster psychological safety without lowering the bar, and
sustain wellbeing under pressure through evidence‑based mindfulness, awareness, and self‑regulation.

This mastermind blends cutting‑edge research with practice.

What we will cover:

1) Conscious communication skills for leaders

Mindful presence & attention.
Listening that changes outcomes.
Psychological safety behaviours.
Transforming difficult conversations.
Feedback loops all people can use.
Ownership and authentic communication.
Language choices, power dynamics, ownership, and conscious cues.

2) Mindfulness in action (for busy leaders)

Micro‑practices for healthy, productive environments: 60‑second resets, intention‑setting, the "third space", and post‑meeting decompression.
Regulating your nervous system.
Individual and Team rituals.

How it works:

Live online mastermind (Zoom): 90‑minute online roundtable mastermind that is interactive, with a supportive peer group of business leaders, managers, executives, and leaders.
Practice Lab: to help consolidate the theory and techniques.
Peer Circles: The opportunity to establish buddy support or 'growth pod' for continued practice, reflection, and connection between sessions.

Perfect for: Heads of Department, project directors, senior managers, founders, community leaders, and people‑leaders across business enterprises, corporations, government, and NFPs.

Outcomes you can expect:

Greater deep insight into the important attributes of conscious leading and managing in today's complex world.
Improve clarity and calm under pressure.
Develop more constructive communication and fewer avoidable escalations.
Improve listening quality, engagement, and management effectiveness.
Develop practical rituals that sustain wellbeing and performance without adding “more to do”.
Embrace a shared language and toolkit you can implement and introduce to your team and clients.
