Many of the most famous Celtic Goddesses are Goddesses of Sovereignty - Brigid, Epona, Maeve, The Morrigan to name a few. It is she who governs and bestows the right to rule onto a King. She is found throughout Celtic myth and stories, shapeshifting between hag and maiden, calling us home to ourselves and the land.

Today, encountering the Goddess of Sovereignty offers us an initiation into Sovereignty of the Self. She leads us toward wholeness and challenges us to reclaim sovereignty over our lives. And for humanity at this new era of the greatly awaited ascension, the Goddess of Sovereignty is preparing us for an even greater destiny—to take full karmic responsibility for our thoughts, words, and deeds.

The Celtic Peoples understood Sovereignty and had Goddesses who held this important value for the culture and the tribe. It's time for women everywhere to take back this ancient feminine archetype.
