A father's love. A nation's loss. A story the world must hear.

Join us for a deeply moving online conversation about Nagham of Gaza, a tribute to the life and legacy of Nagham Abu Samra, the Palestinian karate champion whose dreams of representing Palestine were tragically cut short by Israeli aggression. This event will feature her father, Marwan Abu Samra, who not only lost Nagham but also her beloved sister Rosanne, both taken in the same brutal attack.

In this heartbreaking yet powerful discussion, award-winning filmmaker Ala'a Al Qaisi and Marwan Abu Samra will share the story of a father's unimaginable grief, his daughters’ unwavering strength, and his relentless quest for justice. Marwan has dedicated himself to ensuring that the world never forgets Nagham and Rosanne, fighting to keep their names alive and their dreams unbroken.

This conversation will also delve into the making of Nagham of Gaza, a theatrical play that brings Nagham's story to life on stage. Through powerful storytelling and a commitment to truth, the play honours her courage, her fight for women's empowerment, and the resilience of the Palestinian people. The production itself has been a journey of passion, community support, and a shared mission to ensure that her voice continues to echo far beyond Gaza.

This is more than just a conversation; it is a testimony of love, loss, and the unbreakable spirit of Palestine. Join us to honour Nagham and Rosanne, to stand with Marwan, and to be part of a movement that refuses to let their stories be forgotten.
