WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

- This is an online dance

(I am still new to the online format; though will give my best to create an amazing experience!)

- No need to be a good dancer

- Minimal facilitation

- High quality wireless headset or speaker recommended for a better experience

PREPARE FOR THE EVENT

• Arrive 10 minutes beforehand in your own space
• Log in to the Zoom Link provided through the booking process
• Make sure your computer or device is plugged in or charged fully
• Have your external speaker or wireless headset ready for use 
• Note book and pen (if you like journaling there will be quiet moments for reflection or free writing)
• Yoga mat
• Blanket or warm clothing (for the meditation or relaxing parts)
• Loose comfy clothes
• Barefoot recommended
• Come hydrated, have a water bottle handy

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A journey through dance/movement with moments of silence and short guided meditations. There will be 2 'dance' waves / parts. For those who have attended my in person ecstatic dances, expect less facilitation during the music. Facilitation will be offered with the intent to maintain a good sound quality.

Once you complete your transaction, you will receive the Zoom link for the event purchased in your emailed receipt.

You only need to register once to join with your household.

Please be mindful that there is a maximum capacity, so sharing the Zoom link
will disrupt the program for those who are registering. 

THE STRUCTURE :

• When you first come on the zoom meeting, you will be in a “waiting room” until I welcome you in. The waiting room is simply a screen indicating that you are in the right place. 
• Your microphone will be defaulted to mute.
• There will be time for closing and sharing at the end of the dance. If you wish to share the Host will unmute you in the order of raised hands. 

CREATING A SAFE SPACE: 

• To tend to your own nervous system, or sense of privacy, you can turn off your camera at any point. 
• Anyone exhibiting inappropriate behaviour on screen, or in the chat will be removed by the Host. 
• The entire session, including the shares, will be recorded. This recording is for internal use only and will not be shared. The only screen being recorded during the dance will be the screen of the facilitator, keeping the privacy of our students intact.
