Participants will explore the essentials of proposal writing, including how to clearly communicate project goals, set achievable objectives, and develop a compelling narrative to attract support.

This is a session with a maximum of 20 participants.

5.45 PM – Overview of the Writing and Objectives Process, Essential Materials Needed for Your Application
6:00 PM – Guided workshop activity to support your individual project

6:30 PM – Close/time for extra questions.

Your facilitator:

Melania Jack is the RASN officer for Cairns, Yarrabah, Tablelands, Cassowary Coast, Etheridge and Croydon. Jack brings over 15 years of experience as an artist, project manager and workshop facilitator. Their multidisciplinary practice spans video, sound, performance, installation, and projection. Melania has exhibited work locally, nationally and internationally and is one half of the award-winning duo The Ironing Maidens. With a Master’s degree in Creative Industries, Jack is deeply committed to fostering opportunities for regional artists.
