Progressing gender equality in place naming and public art can feel complex, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Our Networking: Online Drop-In Sessions are informal, welcoming spaces designed to provide direct and practical support for practitioners working in this field. These sessions complement our formal learning forums by offering a relaxed, collaborative environment where challenges and ideas can be explored openly.

Bring your questions, ideas and learnings. In each session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Explore specific topics of interest
Seek advice and practical insights
Share challenges, ideas and emerging practice
Connect with peers and other naming authorities

This is a space for open discussion, shared learning and practical problem-solving, grounded in the realities of advancing gender equality in our local communities.

Choose from two date options:

14 July, 10-11am
13 October, 10-11am

Register today to strengthen your practice, build connections and be part of the drive for more equitable and representative public spaces.

Put Her Name On It is a campaign by Gender Equality Victoria (GEN VIC) to promote commemorative justice and transform Victorian public spaces to be more gender equal. By empowering community members and decision-makers alike, Put Her Name On It uses a collaborative approach to bring women’s achievements out of obscurity and into our public spaces.
