Online: Sexuality and Disability

This online workshop helps you understand your own values and attitudes about sexuality, and how these might affect the way you support the rights of people with disability.

This is an interactive, full-day online workshop for people who live with, care for, or support people with disability. We recommend doing this workshop before attending any other SECCA workshops, as it builds your core knowledge. You will learn useful tools and ideas to begin supporting and affirming rights of people with disability to relationships and sexuality.

• Common values, attitudes, and myths

• Relationship and sexual rights

• Supported decision-making

• Best practice sexuality education

• Taking a trauma-informed approach

Parents, carers, students, teachers, and health professionals. Maximum of 3 participants per organisation.
