Thursday Sound Baths (June):

🎶 Join us for these online sound baths and experience the relaxing effect of the soundscapes created by ancient healing instruments. You may be surprised how effectively sounds travel through your headset into the whole body and the nervous system, helping you create space in your body-mind-emotions. The singing bowls, chimes, drums, gongs and chants have a profoundly soothing effect on our entire being, leaving you feeling re-balanced and rested.

Thursdays at 7pm Melbourne time, VIC, Australia (UCT+11)
Dates: 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd June

45 minutes

💻 via Zoom. The dial-in link will be included in your ticket after successful booking.

🎫 Cost?
$55 set of four sessions
🔹 On the "Get Tickets" page, select only ONE date in the calendar above (it doesn't matter which one) and proceed to payment.
🔹 Tickets for individual sessions are not for sale, but if you can't make it all four sessions you can come to the Sunday 5pm sessions instead.
🔹 Concessions are available for those who are experiencing financial challenges - just ask.

What do I need?
🔹 Use a headset for best audio experience.
🔹 A quiet room where you can either lie down or sit comfortably.
🔹 A good internet connection.
(Note: Internet quality can affect the audio experience and there may be slight dips in sound occasionally. Just relax - the sound will return within seconds 😊).
🔹 A glass of water.
🔹 Items for extra comfort, e.g. eye pillow, blanket etc.
🔹 A curious attitude and a willing heart.

What is sound healing?
Since ancient times and civilisations, sound has been used using a range of instruments and the human voice to induce deeply relaxing states, to alter our state of consciousness and to restore our mind-body’s natural balance. Each instrument has its own unique frequency, creating resonant and dissonant sounds that interact with the bio-energy field in our body. Not only do we listen through the ears, but the organs and the cells in the body also receive sound and vibration. The soundscapes help us let go of the overthinking mind and simply surrender. People often describe the experience as a sonic massage or medicine.

These sound baths are offered to you by Nina Hakamies, sound healing practitioner, yogi, mindfulness facilitator, peer coaching facilitator and public & mental health professional.
