This workshop is for adoptive or permanent carers who may be caring for a child with FASD, or who would like to learn more about FASD. Workshop participants are expected to have:

attended the introductory workshop, or
watched the recording, or
attended other training or have equivalent knowledge – see recommended pre-reading.

This workshop will cover:

Understanding the child’s profile
Making sense of FASD and Trauma Strategies for home, school and community
Working with therapists
Managing risk and safety
Working with a care team

This session is the second part of a series of workshops with Prue Walker, a renowned expert in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), designed specifically for Permanent Care and Adoptive Families.
