ONU Post-Match Drinks | Back to Newington Day

ONU Post-Match Drinks | Back to Newington Day

Following on from the success of last year's Back to Newington Day after party - we're coming back with a bigger venue, a much bigger bar tab to celebrate the end of the season.

Keep the celebrations going after Back to Newington Day and join other Old Newingtonians for post-match drinks at the Philter Brewery just down the road in Marrickville.

Philter is owned and run by a Newington family with close ties to the Rugby community - they're keen to host us and we've put significant funds behind the bar to ensure that you all enjoy yourself.

While the Brewery is a 15 minute walk - we heard feedback from the attendees at last years event that while Public House is close, the busy-ness on a Saturday afternoon and small bar area made it more challenging than it should be to get a beer. We think the walk will be worth it for the 3 hours of catered food and drinks.

This is a great chance to catch up with your mates and meet other Old Newingtonians from across the generations in an informal setting. Touch wood, we'll be celebrating a title win in both the rugby and football, but regardless it'll be great to toast the end of an incredible season.

📍 Philter Brewing, 92-98 Sydenham Rd, Marrickville NSW 2204
🕒 Immediately after the First XV match (or roughly 5pm-8pm)

Round up your ON mates and partners for a well-earned drink and a chance to continue the Back to Newington Day festivities. Please note this is a ticketed event - you'll need to register your attendance so that we can cater the space and tab accordingly.

Look forward to seeing you there,

Old Newingtonians' Union
