Event description
As we creep closer to the end of the year, the silly season approaches. Festival season is looming, Christmas and new year are just around the corner, summer is coming and before we all hit the road for our festival adventures and the madness ensues, we decided to do one more club gig. Our good friends at Ahu had a spare date and asked us if we wanted it, so we hit up a couple of our very talented friends and Ooh La La is ready to roll.
On Saturday 14 December, join COMMUNICATE, Hunua Hustle and Yunset for a pre-Christmas gathering smattered with good times, dancefloor antics, great drinks, exceptional humans and only the very the best house and techno on offer.
COMMUNICATE have gone from strength to strength over the last few years. With upcoming events and festival sets across NZ, various nights they have been running at an array of Auckland venues and festival season looming, the pair have honed their sound and are ready to rumble. You should definitely expect the unexpected from this dynamic duo. This will be their last set in the city before festival season kicks off, so you don't want to miss it.
Hunua Hustle impresses from the moment you hear him play. With a wealth of music knowledge, an ear for spectacular sound and more passion than you can shake a stick at, Hunua Hustle will do more than just get your foot tapping. A regular on stage at Taniwha's Den, he has played the likes of Burning Man, graced a pirate ship in the trees at LUMA and influenced many floors with his wide-ranging tastes.
Yunset has been a staple on many lineups this year. After blasting onto the scene last summer at Ignition, she has been in demand at festivals and club gigs across Auckland, and is booked for the like of Dimension Festival this summer. whether she's warming up on a sunny afternoon or laying it down at night, she draws the floor in and commands the dance.
Limited early birds are on sale now so get in and let's celebrate the silly season in style!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:Our dancefloor is a safe space for everyone, we will not tolerate any behaviour that makes anyone distressed. If you or someone you know is being harassed or made to feel uncomfortable, please approach any of the bar staff, the DJs or security.
