Op Shop and Style for Pride Fest
Event description
The City of Vincent in collaboration with the Style Counsellor and Vinnies WA are offering a FREE op shopping and personal style event for young LGBTIQA+ people. Starting at Mt Hawthorn Main Hall, the Style Counsellor Ciara and Queer Style advocate and Fairy Punk Celestia will teach us about building a sustainable wardrobe and using clothes for personal expression.
Attendees will then head to Vinnies, where they will receive a Vault card to the value of $24 to use during a private shopping session for the group!
Enjoy trying on clothes in a fun and supportive environment and putting some sustainable style tips into practice.
Cost: FREE, registrations essential.
This event is open to LGBTIQA+ young people aged 16-25.
The event will commence at Mt Hawthorn Main Hall and will finish at Vinnies Mt Hawthorn.
Please note that this will be a private shopping session and only attendees that are registered for the full session will be able to participate in the shopping experience at Vinnies.

An Auslan interpreter can be requested, please contact us at least 2 weeks prior to the event so arrangements can be made.
Mt Hawthorn Main Hall has one ACROD bay and can be accessed by stairs or lift. There are accessible and ambulant toilets at this venue. Vinnies Mt Hawthorn is on the ground level and the retail area is wheelchair accessible, however customer toilets are not available at this venue.
Please note that the walk from Mt Hawthorn Hall to Vinnies is 350m. If you require assistance to get between the two venues, please contact us at least one week prior to the event so we can make arrangements.
