Ageism Awareness

The Ageism Awareness workshop invites participants to reflect on the different experiences of people who are ‘younger’, ‘older’, and anywhere in between. Participants will come to recognise their own perceptions of people of different ages, and compare these with what research says about how people of different ages experience the world and society. Participants will also learn that we all have protections under the law, irrespective of our age.

Please note you can register between 1-5 members of your organisation to complete the training alongside individuals from other agencies.

This pilot workshop is especially relevant to human resource, learning and development and diversity inclusion staff who may return to the workplace to share their learnings, and/or consider future rollout of the workshop for the broader workplace.

Please note that in order for this workshop to go ahead, we need a minimum of 8 participants. A maximum of 20 participants are able to register.
