Venus Bay Community Centre is proud to be bringing an outdoor Cinema to Venus Bay as part of the Art Cube program. Filming on the 12th of April will be the M rated movie 'Blueback.'
The movie is said to be 'A heartwarming tale of family, friendship, and the power of one person to make a difference.' The story follows Abby, a child who befriends a magnificent wild blue grouper while diving. When Abby realizes that the fish is under threat, she takes inspiration from her activist mum, Dora, and takes on poachers to save her friend.
Tickets are $10 per person and we encourage everyone to come along for a great family night out. Bring your chairs, and rug up in case it is cold. Support the local shops by bringing along your takeaway dinner.
The film will be relocated to the Tarwin Lower Memorial Hall in the event of inclement weather.
