Open Christchurch 2021: Chen Anselmi Units
Event description
OPEN CHRISTCHURCH 2021: Chen Anselmi Units
Architect: Paul Anselmi (Bull O'Sullivan Architecture) & Maria Chen, 2019
Stepping into this townhouse is stepping into the future of urban housing. Small, airy and carefully crafted, the unit achieves a sense of space and texture through the use of angular geometry, built-in furniture and vibrant colour. Skylights and perfectly positioned windows capture light and views, expanding the dwelling’s reach beyond its 100 square metre footprint. Built by the two architects that live here, the residence is clever, considered proof of how less can be more.
