Open Finance Research Report Launch with Minister Clark
FinTechNZ, with the support of the Digital Council, the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment, Dentons Kensington Swan and sponsors, is proud to launch the Open Finance Aotearoa Research Report.
The Report will be launched by Minister Clark. The launch event will include an overview of the key findings and recommendations.
The FinTech sector is the fastest-growing secondary sector in New Zealand, registering a 5-year CAGR of 31% in 2020. As a society, we must improve our financial and digital capabilities to ensure all New Zealanders can participate in new digital models.
Open Finance has the potential to create a consent driven data sharing environment that enables innovation across the finance, insurance and wider financial services and related sectors to improve New Zealanders’ financial outcomes.Â
