The Report will be launched by Minister Clark. The launch event will include an overview of the key findings and recommendations.

The FinTech sector is the fastest-growing secondary sector in New Zealand, registering a 5-year CAGR of 31% in 2020. As a society, we must improve our financial and digital capabilities to ensure all New Zealanders can participate in new digital models.

Open Finance has the potential to create a consent driven data sharing environment that enables innovation across the finance, insurance and wider financial services and related sectors to improve New Zealanders’ financial outcomes.
