Jessie and Jan offer a monthly facilitated and held dance space to practice being present and tuning in to our inner landscapes.

Each month we explore a different theme. This one is Fluidity.

Jan is an Open Floor Dance teacher, Jessie a yoga teacher and dancer. Both believe in the power of expressing oneself through movement.

All experience begins and ends in the body, yet we cling onto the idea that we live life solely in the mind.
Open Floor teaches us to trust the intelligence of the body, that's why we dance.

It's not just about releasing- although a good vigorous dance is great to let go of tension, energise and shift emotional states. Rather, this type of held and guided space can enable you to become consciously embodied, sit with whatever thoughts and feelings arise and integrate these in a way that attends to your needs with compassion and understanding.

Open to experienced conscious dancers and welcoming new dancers who are looking for a deeper way to connect with the wisdom in the body.

Bring water and wear comfortable clothes to move in, an extra layer or scarf can be nice also.

After the dance we offer herbal tea and bliss balls, offering space to connect and share.
