Jessie and Jan offer a facilitated and held dance space to practice being present.

Jan is an Open Floor Dance teacher and Jessie a dancer and yoga teacher, and both believe in the power of expressing oneself through movement.

All experience begins and ends in the body, yet we cling onto the idea that we live life solely in the mind.
Open Floor teaches us to trust the intelligence of the body, that's why we dance.

It's not just about releasing- although a good vigorous dance is great to let go of tension, energise and shift emotional states. Rather, this type of held and guided space can enable you to become consciously embodied, sit with whatever thoughts and feelings arise and integrate these in a way that attends to your needs with compassion and understanding.

Open to experienced conscious dancers and welcoming new dancers who are looking for a deeper way to connect with the wisdom in the body.

Bring water and wear comfortable clothes to move in.

After the dance we offer herbal tea and bliss balls in a time to connect and share.
