Event description

The Spring Launch for 2024 Open Gardens WA. Guest speaker, John Viska, a champion of historical gardens and an experienced horticulturalist, will speak on the significance of UWA Campus Gardens from a heritage perspective,  garden design trends over the years and what we might expect in the future.

Planning for warmer summers has brought a new focus on water conservation, with many local councils promoting native plants and soil amendments to save water. Our new sponsor, Mineral Magic, has generously provided two 10kg bags of their very effective soil amendments, each worth $45, as free door prizes.

You will receive a copy of the Spring 2024 open gardens calendar and hear about our exciting plans for the inaugural Guildford Festival of Open Gardens in November.

Hackett Cafe will provide a delicious gourmet spread for morning tea, followed by an optional guided tour of UWA's beautiful grounds. All of this is included for $30 for members and $35 for non-members.

For your convenience, you can renew or join as a members at the same time.
