Open Maker Workshop - Laser Cutting: Festive Ornaments
Description
Open Maker Workshops are facilitator-led sessions that guide you through creating a creative project.
These workshops are a great way to explore the Makerspace equipment, connect with the creative community, and start your passion for designing, crafting, and all things making. Join us and explore 3D modelling, die cutting, and laser cutting!
🎨🎄On Saturday, 14 and 28 November, join us for a festive workshop where you’ll create your own Christmas tree ornament or piece of jewellery. Add colour to your design, create a simple decorative pattern, and take home a finished ornament that’s perfect for yourself or as a thoughtful gift.
Open Maker Workshops are free for adults 16+ years. No previous experience is required; however, participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops with Inkscape downloaded.
Continue your creative journey:
If you have some Makerspace experience and are looking for a self-led program where you can work on your own project, we recommend booking one of our Open Maker sessions. They are held every Monday and Thursday night at The Learning Space.
