This is an intimate in-person Storytelling time for Women.

Open Mic Night Storytelling is an opportunity for you to take us on a journey of your lived experiences. Bringing women together in authentic connection through storytelling as our mothers and grandmothers did. Do you have a true story that ignites your soul and transcends boundaries?

You are warmly invited to share your story in this safe space, spoken freely from your heart without notes in a time limit of up to 10 minutes. Be seen, heard and celebrated as you inspire others.

THEME for this month is CLOSURES & NEW BEGINNINGS.

Do you have a story of the time when you left home and spread your wings? Ended a relationship? Found new love? Left a job? Started something new? A story around your health and how against all odds you changed the outcome. The topics are endless. We look forward to hearing what happened when one door closed and the next opened.

Your story matters and you will be wildly celebrated.

Too often, as women, we forget to pause and reflect on the journey we have travelled. By sharing your story, you are uplifting us with your gift of life experience. 

We would love 8 speakers to share their story on the night. If you would like to be one of those speakers, please arrive early to register your name on the Speakers Board. Speakers will be on a first come first serve basis.

PLEASE NOTE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A SPEAKER TO ENJOY THE NIGHT!

Listeners are very welcome. However, if you feel there is a story bubbling inside of you, but hesitate to share it, I invite you to lean in, be brave, own your story and inspire us.

Venue: Marryatville Hotel, 239 Kensington Rd, Marryatville

Arrive anytime from 6.30pm. Purchase your drink at the bar, then come through and join in the pre-event chat.

If you wish to have a meal pre-event, there will be a table booked. Please allow time to order and eat your meal in the restaurant before coming to the function room for the 7:00pm start.
