Event description

Cycle the scenic trails of Jacksons Creek and immerse yourself in Sunbury’s rich natural and cultural heritage.

Beginning at Apex Park, we’ll ride together along a relaxed route, pausing to uncover stories of the area’s layered history, learn about the unique local ecology—including the elusive platypus and growling grass frog—and explore the vision for the future biik wurrdha Regional Parklands.

The tour concludes with the option to join us at The Nook for a well-earned afternoon tea, where you can connect with fellow riders, share insights, and enjoy nature.

Open Nature: Jacksons Creek biik wurrdha Regional Parklands is presented by Open House Melbourne, funded through the Victorian Government’s Suburban Parks Program.
