Enjoy behind-the-scenes access to this immense food distribution centre, one of the South Island’s largest, and see how operational efficiency is amplified through its programme. The pared-back design articulates a rigorous solution to complex logistical and temporal demands, and responds to the needs of multiple stakeholders, while offering elements of architectural refinement. $7 + bfs, allow 45 mins.

Important things to know when visiting Christchurch Fresh Distribution Centre:
Tour/site involves steps
Wheelchair inaccessible
This tour is not suitable for someone uncomfortable with heights
Access to this building includes negotiating many steps/stairs, which will make it inaccessible for some visitors.
Bring warm layers due to low indoor temperatures.
PPE is required. Please bring steel cap boots and high vis.
