Brett Nannup

A homeland bound [with] grief 1.8.2.7.Brett Nannup is Goolugatup’s 18th TILT Artist. The yearly TILT program is Goolugatup's major site-responsive commission from a Western Australian artist.

In this new body of work developed this year, Nannup seeks to reclaim space, voice and memory through ancestral connections to Goolugatup as a place of teaching, connection and resistance.

GETTING HERE – Goolugatup Heathcote is a cultural precinct located on the shores of the Derbal Yerrigan, in the suburb of Applecross, just south of the centre of Boorloo Perth, WA. It is 10-minute drive from the CBD, and ample free parking is available. The closest train station is Canning Bridge, and the closest bus route the 148.
