Opening Event | 'Saints Not Sinners'
Event description
Mitchell Fine Art in Brisbane presents the Opening Event to its newest group exhibition, 'Saints Not Sinners' (showing 3 - 28 June) on Friday 6 June from 6 - 8pm. This is a chance to mingle with the artists and learn more about their work and the themes of the exhibition.
'Saints Not Sinners' examines the complex relationship between humans and animals often labelled as "feral."
This thought-provoking exhibition challenges viewers to reconsider assumptions about these creatures. Are these animals truly villains - or are they victims of human displacement and environmental disruption?
The exhibition features artworks by 2024 Redland Art Prize winner Mirra Whale, Queensland artists David Hayes, Kim Wilson, Peter Hudson, and Jake Moss and expressive animal ceramic sculptures by Sydney-based artist Charlotte Le Brocque.
**All events are free, no RSVP required.
