Opening Ground Workshop: Team Building, Positive Communication and Tools for Confidence

KICK UP YOUR CONFIDENCE at the Bunbury Soccer Carnival 2024

Join us for a special edition workshop to empower women and girls with mental wellbeing tools to build self-confidence, positive communication and team connection. Saturday 5 October from 11:15am - 12pm, on the main pitch [Pitch 9]

Register for free, or contribute what you can towards a ticket. Open to 45 girls in three teams, who will learn 2-3 techniques to build confidence on and off the pitch.  

This workshop is led by Gaining Ground WA, a mental wellbeing not-for-profit that keeps women and girls in football and elevates players to become coaches and leaders at their clubs. We're a women and community-led organisation of mums, players, teachers, and communicators who are passionate about creating a gender equitable future for women and girls everywhere. 

Your workshop facilitators are young women, who have played, coached, and led football clinics globally and are passionate about creating more inclusive, joyful, and positive environments for girls,  so you keep playing football.
