David Chen is recognised as a master artist, highly respected for his exceptional technical ability and his distinctive personal style. In this significant new collection, he offers us his unique vision and sublime painterly impressions of Melbourne city scenes, nudes and coastal subjects, highlighting his dynamic brushwork and vibrant tonal expression with striking finesse.
A series of poetic and luminous ‘9x5’ works will also be featured in the exhibition, revisiting the plein air traditions of the Australian impressionists.
David Chen is an Internationally acclaimed artist whose successful career spans over four decades. He has exhibited his work at the National Gallery of Victoria and the United Nations in New York. He is represented in private, corporate and public collections.
