The disco is open and you're invited, let’s kick off Winter Pride in style!

Join us for Winter Pride's official opening night at The Lavender Lounge: a euphoric circus and cabaret show experience. Featuring dance, aerial circus, drag, burlesque, a rhinestone cowgirl and most definitely some roller skating.

The Lavender Lounge is an LGBTQ+ prominent cabaret + circus show, complete with a live DJ. It is a euphoric depiction of Queer love and club culture, Queer culture and club love. The Queer disco scene has been a significant stepping stone in the journey of LGBTQ+ liberation, and honey, we want you to feel liberated.

This is a not-for-profit event, aimed at showcasing diversity and subcultures in an adventure tourism town.

Dress code: HEDONISM: Club - Rave - Disco

This is a seated event with an invitation to the dance floor at the end of the show.

This event is part of our independently produced official Winter Pride events. Produced and directed by Oblivion Westwood. This is an R18 event.
Doors open 7pm, the show starts at 8pm.

Winter Pride is a festival in a small town with a bold heart. Each year, we come together to celebrate love, community, diversity, visibility, safety, and inclusion. It is a festival that not only encourages our rainbow community but also invites the entire town to come together and celebrate diversity.

10 days packed with amazing events, with talent line-ups including some of our best loved Australasian and New Zealand DJs, dance parties, skiing, snow boarding and dining events, the festival is the perfect week for people to show their true selves in an accepting, supportive and fun community.

Our annual week of festivities includes a huge variety of both on and off mountain events ensuring there is something for everyone. Our shows and events provide an amazing array of entertainment and our community series gives back to local youth and charities. Join us at this years Winter Pride.
