Experience the gripping intensity of two operatic masterpieces in one exhilarating evening.
Pacific Opera Studio’s Young Artists dive deep into the drama of Peter Grimes by Benjamin Britten and the sweeping passion of The Queen of Spades by Tchaikovsky.
From the storm-lashed Suffolk coast to the high-stakes salons of Imperial Russia, these powerful scenes explore obsession, fate and the human cost of ambition.
Performed in an intimate setting, these workshop performances reveal the next generation of operatic talent as they bring these unforgettable characters vividly to life.
Peter Grimes is guest directed by Kanen Breen, an irrepressible operatic tenor and cabaret artist who has worked with Opera Australia, Victorian Opera, Pinchgut Opera, and on Broadway with Baz Luhrmann's La Bohème.
The Queen of Spades is guest directed by Emma Whitehead, a rising talent and NIDA graduate fresh from rave reviews of Fair Play at the Old Fitz Theatre.
