OPTIMA-CON 2024 brings together industry professionals, researchers, and students from various national and international institutions. There will be a strong career and industry focus in this conference to build work readiness and connect industry with future leaders in optimisation. A diverse range of workshops, presentations and discussion groups will be held during the conference designed to foster meaningful collaborations and knowledge transfer between academia and the private sector. Optimisation challenge workshops based on real industry problems will bring students, academics and industry together in a common goal.
The conference will provide a conducive environment for networking, allowing attendees to establish connections with potential research collaborators. Informal interactions, such as coffee breaks and social events, create opportunities for participants to initiate discussions, exchange ideas, and explore possibilities for future joint research projects such collaborations can contribute to the national economy by driving innovation and addressing industry challenges.
There will be no one theme at the inaugural OPTIMA conference as we aim to bring together optimisation professionals from across disciplines.
