Oracle is calling all innovators to join us for one day of innovation and creation. In the Oracle Innovators Hackathon students will be spending a day working with a piece of Oracle technology to find new and exciting uses for it in our day to day lives.

Exploring the Oracle Code Card students will be working with the modified Arduino board to see how they can repurpose this exciting piece of technology to help solve challenges around Brisbane.

Starting the day be exploring examples of technology innovation around the world, students will be working through a design sprint that will see them identifying their end-users, settling on a new use for the technology, and then using their coding skills to bring their solution to life.

This is designed to be a fun and engaging day for STEM students looking to extend their thinking and apply their knowledge to a real-world challenge.

Who Is This Program For?
This program is designed for students aged 12 - 16

When Does The Program Run?
This is a one-day program, commencing on January 14th. The program will run from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Drop-off is available from 8:30am and pick-up is available until 3:30pm.

Where Will The Program Be Held?
The program will be held in the Brisbane Business Hub, L2/155 Queen St, Brisbane City, QLD, 4000. More information about accessing the venue will be provided in the Welcome Pack.

What Do Students Need To Bring?
We ask that students bring a laptop if they have one. All other equipment will be provided. Students will also need to bring Morning Tea and Lunch.

Do Students Need Any Prior Experience?
Students will require a small amount of technical knowledge of coding or strong interest/aptitude to this type of content.
