NSW Department of Primary Industries is open! Â
Have you ever been curious about what happens at the Orange Agricultural Institute (OAI)?Â
Did you know OAI is home to world-class research scientists and labs, a Biosecurity Collection of over half a million preserved scientific specimens, an Emergency State Coordination Centre, a Global Ag-tech Ecosystem, the first insect biocontrol quarantine facility in NSW and much more!Â
It is also a working farm comprising of 183 hectares of land that supports 5 hectares of irrigated orchards with over 5000 fruit and nut trees, grapevines, a long-term grazing trial with over 1000 sheep.Â
Come and see for yourself. We are open to the public!Â
