Organic Propagation Of Vegetables And Herbs
Event description
Description
From sharing zucchini seeds over the fence with a neighbour to taking a cutting from a friend's thriving rosemary bush, propagating your own herbs and vegetables is easy, inexpensive and so very satisfying. Learn the basics of how to produce new plants from seed, cuttings and division in organic growing conditions in this hands-on workshop. Horticulturalist Olivia Caputo will take the class through seasonal timing for growth, heirloom and hybrid seeds, and propagation media using practical examples inside the CERES hothouses. Participants can take home any plants they have propagated on the day.
