Join Jacquoline from B' Divine Skincare in a 2-hour organic skincare making workshop creating Raspberry Lip Balm and learning the techniques behind making your own lip balms!

What will we be doing?
You will work in a small intimate group of other home educated youth in a barn on with the beautiful farm setting of Brookby Barn in Auckland.

Is this just for the kids... or can I join in...
This workshop is designed for the youth to do by themselves (8+) or youth can do it with their parent as a lovely bonding activity! Just book yourself a ticket if you want to join in!

Parents are welcome to our cuppa area to hang out and chat with each other while youth do the workshop or participate.
This workshop uses laboratory equipment and boiling water.
Younger children will need assistance to make their organic lip balm.

Can I bring my child's siblings?
Yes as long as they are supervised at all times by the adult bringing them.
There is a small playground outside that children are welcome to use but we ask everyone to respect the property and take your own rubbish with you.
There are wild farm animals around like chickens, turnkeys and ducks and we ask for kids not to chase them please and be respectful at all times to the animals on the property as this is their home.

What to Bring:
_ Water Bottle
- Youth should bring closed shoes.
- If youth are staying for both classes, bring a packed lunch to eat lunch between the two workshops.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM B' DIVINE SKINCARE:

- Children & parents will need to participate in a safety briefing before we start creating our organic skincare in the 'lab' area.
- We will be working with glass beakers, glass laboratory equipment and also using a stove top with hot boiling water.
- If parents are uncomfortable with children using any of this equipment independently please ensure you are able to work side by side to assist your child during the workshop.
- B' Divine Skincare take no responsibility for any accidents that may occur in “the lab.”
- Although we use 100% organic ingredients, parents are advised to skin patch test first for any possible allergic reactions to any of the skincare products made.

Cost includes: a group contribution; this supports the organization of outings/ sessions for the home educated community and online services used for bookings. All events are volunteer organized to benefit the home education community. 

Check in: Life Learners coordinator will be at this event. You will need to sign in your groups booking when you arrive at the event.

Group Minimums: There is a minimum amount of tickets that need to purchased on most events (set by the venue). If this event fails to reach the minimum amount of tickets booked before the last day of registration; the event will be cancelled and refunded.
