Origin & Innovation
Event description
Let's explore green coffee processing across different origins - one of the largest influential aspects of coffee flavours!
Project Origin works with over 15 origins around the world and builds direct trade relationships with producers and roasters. By working directly with coffee producers, we build an in depth understanding of what processing influences, and how we can adjust it to extract desired outcomes.
In this workshop for coffee professionals and beginners, we will outline the differences in traditional processing (washed, natural, honey) & more collaborative or innovative processing methods (CM, Nitrogen, Supernatural), and how do these differ depending on country?!
Come with your questions and open minds - and ready to understand all of these differences on the cupping table.
Now is your time to learn about origin and processing - one of the largest influential aspects of coffee flavours.
Origins we will cup include:
Panama
Nicaragua
Kenya
Ethiopia
El Salvador
Honduras
All proceeds go to Water for Good.
