“ I highly recommend this performance from this budding theatrical company that has taken a universal story of a still unaddressed topic, in particular the take on how bystanders console survivors, and imbues it with love, compassion and humour. A wonderful production. ”

Small Ripples Theatre aims to provide a platform for Asian artists to get involved in creating original theatre and tell impactful stories. Our past productions include the sold-out season of "Best Cabinet Maker" musical. "Hidden Tunes" is our latest production, written in Mandarin and accompanied by Chinese traditional instruments.
"Hidden Tunes 弦外之影" is a Mando-pop musical accompanied by traditional Chinese instruments. Set in a prestigious music academy, the story follows two classmates, Xiao Qian and A Jia, who are brought together by their shared passion for music and composition.
