Ornamental Air

Join us for a special evening celebrating the inaugural performance of the Fernleigh Young Musicians Orchestra. This exciting debut will feature the Orchestra performing alongside Omega Ensemble, whose reputation for virtuosity and exceptional programming has secured its place as one of Australia's leading chamber groups.

Together they will present Ornamental Air - a striking and expressive work by Elena Kats-Chernin, one of Australia’s most acclaimed composers. The concert will also feature, as soloist, Omega’s Artistic Director David Rowden performing the incredible Concerto for Basset Clarinet. The program includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 and the Fernleigh Junior String Ensemble and Cello Ensemble.
