The Importance of Being Earnest
Description
An outdoor staged play reading fundraiser performance.
A picnic. A play. A very Wilde night.
Spend a summer evening outdoors at St Hilda’s with Oscar Wilde’s brilliant comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest.
Directed by award-winning WA director Geoffrey Leeder, this staged play reading brings together theatre, laughter and community for a fundraiser supporting St Hilda’s Anglican Church - the parish church for everyone in North Perth.
Bring a picnic, your favourite drinks and a low chair, and settle in for Wilde’s deliciously sharp take on love, manners and the complications of leading a double life.
