OSTARA Spring Celebration
Event description
OSTARA - SPRING EQUINOX CELEBRATION PICNIC
The Spring Equinox is a time of balance, when day & night & light & dark are of equal length, before the balance tips in favour of the light & warmth.
Come celebrate the ‘Time of Flowers’ when nature is in full bloom. Come dressed as a God or Goddess of Flora or Fauna, a Nature Spirit, or simply dress in Spring colours & adorn yourself with flowers & greenery in the Spirit of the Season. Bring along your drum, or other musical instrument & help drive up the energy in the Spring Equinox ritual, when we symbolically enact interplay of light & dark.
All contributions of food, music, magic & things of seasonal relevance are welcome & encouraged.
