Organ Society Evensong and Gala Dinner
Event description
The Organ Society of Western Australia, in collaboration with Saint George's College, invites you to a special Choral Evensong and Gala Dinner event on Thursday 29th August, celebrating the 66th anniversary of OSWA. This event commences our new fundraising initiative which will establish education programs to support and train the next generation of organists.
Choral Evensong commences at 5:30pm in the College Chapel, featuring rising stars of the organ in Perth, organist Alessandro Pittorino, and the College Chapel Choir and Consort, directed by David Woods.
Evensong will be followed by a complimentary sparkling reception in the College grounds.
The evening continues with a three-course Gala Dinner, which commences at 7:00pm; drinks during dinner are included in the ticket price. We are pleased to announce our Patron, the Very Reverend Doctor John Shepherd, Dean Emeritus of Saint George's Cathedral, as the guest speaker for the dinner.
Bookings for dinner are essential and must be made by Friday 23rd August; tickets are strictly limited.
Attendance to the Evensong only is free and tickets are not required. Clergy attending are invited to robe in choir dress.
