University of Otago Consumer and Applied Science Building Site Visit
Event description
CApSc Site Visit – Wednesday 18th June, 4.30pm
Step back in time with us with a site tour of the beautifully restored CApSc (Consumer and Applied Sciences) building, a stunning 1920s bluestone and Oamaru stone gem in the heart of the University of Otago’s campus.
Recently completed seismic strengthening and heritage restoration work has brought this historic building into the modern era while preserving its unique character. Now in the final stages of its interior transformation, CApSc is getting ready to welcome new occupants—and we’re excited to take a behind-the-scenes look before the doors officially open.
Don’t miss this chance to explore a piece of architectural history and hear from the team behind the restoration.
Please wear your PPE - hi vis, hard hat and site boots/shoes.
We will meet at 111 Albany Street and walk to the site together. After the site visit, join us for some networking and light snacks at Eureka.
