A rich, thought-provoking course open to those seeking a more expansive perspective of humanity.
We will explore how perception and awareness has evolved over millennia.
Looking into the ancient cultures that are the foundations of the predominant modern western culture we will develop a greater awareness and appreciation of our own, shedding precious light on our lives today, and bringing a fresh and enlivened perspective to our soul life. We will especially explore the development of music over the ages and discover intimately, for ourselves, how such changes affect the soul.
Lectures, artistic exercises, meditation, movement and music will assist us to expand ourselves imaginatively into different historical paradigms, and to enrich and expand our perspectives on life and humanity.

Mark Phillips is Coordinator of Teaching and Curriculum Development at the Perth Waldorf School and of the Primary Teacher Training programme. Her has studied the work of Rudolf Steiner for over 30 years and has a deep connection to the ancient myths of various cultures around the world.
Paul Lawrence is in his 22nd year of teaching music in Waldorf Schools. Paul has trained adults in music and anthroposophy since 2007 at Rudolf Steiner College, Perth, taught and performed at National Anthroposophical Conferences and currently runs singing and listening retreats in Bali.
