Entry instructions

Concord Library is a standalone building located on the corner of Flavelle and Wellbank Street. As you approach the library you will see the main set of glass doors which lead to the library foyer on Level 2.

After entry instructions

After entering Concord Library you will find the event in the children's area on your left. Head to the furthest point on Level 2. Public toilets are located directly to the right after entering the library building.

Hazards

Crowd, noise, and expectations. We are expecting a large crowd of around 150 people at this event. If your child is nervous about crowds and noise, please prepare them before the day. Let them know there will be lots of people and it will be noisy and busy, but it is a safe place and it will be fun. Please bring along noise cancelling headphones if it helps. Emma Memma and her Auslan interpreter will be reading and signing a story in Auslan which will take around 15 minutes. Please prepare your child for sitting through the storybook reading. You may want to bring along a fidget or weighted toy to help settle your child for the story.

Toilet location

An accessible toilet and parents room is located under the stairs that lead up from Level 2 to Level 3. Entrance is via a small corridor on the right, at the end of the Returns Shelves - please see staff for directions.

Accessible parking

There is one accessible parking space at the front of Concord Library, two accessible spaces to the side of the library on Flavelle Street, and two accessible spaces in the car park at the back of the library.
