Our Patch Project Celebration

Event description

The year six students within the Augusta-Margaret River region have been learning about what makes the environment in their local catchment special and how it can be cared for now and into the future.  Please join us to hear the students present their Our Patch Projects to the community and celebrate their incredible efforts to protect this unique and biodiverse region.

Meet the students behind these innovative projects inspired by the beauty and diversity of this region and hear the incredible ways they are working to protect waterways, enhance habitat, promote ecological restoration and educate their community.

If you have attended a Project Celebration in the past you will notice that this year, we are trialing something different.  The event will comprise a short presentation by each school, followed by a hands-on interactive science fair, allowing the community to hear directly from the students on their vision for a thriving Wadandi Boodja.

Thank you for joining us for what will be a very special event, and for supporting young people to care for Wadandi Boodja.

Please note:

If you are a parent, you will have received your booking code via your child's teacher.

Community attendees. This year we are trialing a nominal ticket price for wider community attendees to have the opportunity to experience and directly contribute to the Our Patch program.
