Join us for an insightful Artists Talk as part of Our Routes, an exhibition exploring migration, identity, and the evolving influence of African heritage across generations. This discussion will bring together featured artists to share the inspirations behind their work, and the stories embedded in their creative practice.

This is an opportunity to engage directly with the artists, ask questions, and reflect on the ways art can capture the movement of people, traditions, and ideas across borders.

Spaces are limited – RSVP to secure your spot!

Our Routes is part of Africa Month, an arts and culture programme that celebrates the diverse African diaspora communities in Aotearoa in the lead up to Africa Day in May. To stay up to date with the Africa Month programme for 2025, follow Vocal Roots on all social media platforms.

This event is proudly supported by the City Centre Targeted Rate.
